Project Overview
Since 1988 Quiet Technology Aerospace is aviation’s leader in advanced composites for corrosion termination, structural repair & improvement as well as noise attenuation.
QTA needed a website revamp that highlighted their new branding and provided specific aircraft product specifications and compatibility.
Contributions
Working in collaboration with Matheson Media, Corp., I was the only designer on the project, so everything you see I created myself. I was involved in the process from beginning to end and everything from creating flows and wireframes, all the way to creating final UI designs.
Starting with the basics. Who, what and why.
We started with strategy and defined the brand and its target audience. We identified the target audience and had a lot of insight, so it was only a matter of consolidating the findings to identify user pain points and proper user flow. The next step was to establish a site map.
Site Map
Wireframes & User Flow
After we defined the flow and established the site map, We proceeded with creating the wireframes to explore the experience in more detail on a screen-by-screen level.
Visual Xploration
We moved on to exploring the overall look and feel of the website. and created the mock-ups. Taking this route helped us communicate different directions we could take more vividly, as the client could clearly see the impact each direction would have.
Final User Interface
After the final design was approved, I proceeded with designing the landing pages and user interface.
